PEASANT INSPIRED PIN-UP MEETS CLASSIC PARISIAN GLAMOUR
FRONT ROW
The models at Chanel fluttered through a farm yard inspired catwalk with tousled hair and hay caught in their tweed suits as if they had just been caught having some cheeky fun with the boys in the barn. As Lilly Allen performed behind them, the models winked at the audience, spoke on their phones and flirted with each other while playing in the hay stacks.
The collection had a young, fun, flirtatious vibe to it. The classic Chanel tweed skirt-suits were shortened to appeal to Karl Lagerfeld's young market of the modern day fashion muse. Frou-frou blouses, delicate laces and sheer chiffon's were put together with cropped tweed jackets and cute clogs.
