BACK TO BASICS
'BASICS' ARE MY PRIDE AND JOY. THEY ARE ESSENTIAL, CLASSIC & THE BUILDING BLOCKS FOR ALL MY ENSEMBLES. I SPEND MORE TIME & MONEY ON GOOD T-SHIRTS & JEANS THAN I EVER HAVE ON A DRESS OR SHOES (EXCEPTION GRANTED TO MY LITTLE BLACK DRESS). THIS MAY SEEM ABSURD TO SOME (LIKE MY MUM WHO DOES NOT UNDERSTAND SPENDING OVER $100 ON A COTTON T-SHIRT) BUT (MUM PLEASE TAKE NOTE) THEY ARE THE PIECES I WEAR EVERYDAY, ALL YEAR ROUND, FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. TO SOME IT MAY SEEM SAFE & BORING BUT PERSONALLY I THINK THEY ARE THE STAPLE ESSENTIALS TO THE WARDROBE OF ANY STYLISH WOMAN. THERE SEEMS TO BE AN APPRECIATION FOR THIS BACK-TO-BASICS THEORY AT THE MOMENT, JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE MARC JACOBS, STELLA MCARTNEY & CELINE SHOWS THIS SEASON. ALEXANDER WANG, BASSIKE & A.P.C ARE MY GO-TO BRANDS FOR THE BEST BASIC PIECES THAT I KNOW WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR ME- RAIN, HAIL OR SHINE.

The Alexander Wang bag looks great. Can it be gotten with a shoulder strap? I like the fine lace detail along part of the top of the cups of the black bra too.
